SKY Inquiry Coordinator

The Supporting Kentucky Youth (SKY) Inquiry Coordinator works to resolve conflicts. You can bring up any SKY-related concern that affects your health and well-being. After hearing your concerns, we'll work together to review your options and next steps.

What is a SKY Inquiry Coordinator?

What is a SKY Inquiry Coordinator?

An Inquiry Coordinator serves as an ombudsman for SKY children and youth, families and caregivers, as well as providers. This is someone who listens to issues and works to promote improvements in care and services. They’re a resource you can use when you need help with a concern about SKY. Our team follows the highest code of ethics. An Inquiry Coordinator is:

  • Independent: While they are part of SKY, they work to mainly serve you.
  • Confidential: They respect your privacy and share your concerns only with those you choose, except when there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or when the law requires it.
  • Impartial: They promote fair practices and leave their point of view outside the process.
  • Informal: They try to make members feel comfortable with the process. Conversations are open, friendly and off the record.
